World's First Dissolvable Dress

Scientists have managed to create the world’s first dress that dissolves in water. It’s made from polyvinyl alcohol, which will partially dissolve when washed.

The fabric is knitted from a clear polymer – polyvinyl alcohol – of the kind used in sachets that release detergent in washing machines.

Along with the dresses, they’ve also made the bottles that can be dissolved in hot water.
