World’s First PC-less Cordless Skype Phone

by Jeremiah on November 22, 2006

There’s an entire army of Skype phones that can make calls on both the Skype network and the regular landline, but the RTX Dualphone is the first that can do both without a PC. It comes with a charging dock, a base station, and a handset (duh!). The base station can connect into both your ethernet network and your landline, giving you freedom to take the cordless handset anywhere in the house (and your neighbor’s house). It will set you back £109.99 (around $205), so it’s not exactly cheap. The price for technology, mister.
