Yamaha YAS71-BL Air Surround XTREME

Yamaha Electronics Corporation, just yesterday introduced the YAS-71 AIR SURROUND XTREME front surround system. The system comprises of a slim front surround module, which can be neatly mounted underneath a flat panel display or on a shelf without disturbing room aesthetics, and a powered subwoofer, both with stylish, compact designs and glossy black finishes. Yamaha’s proprietary 24kHz HRTF (Head Related Transfer Function) surround technology allows listeners to hear clear dialogue and other sounds from the front, specific sounds from the other channels to the sides and rear, and smooth audio movement all around them. The YAS-71 is fully compatible with Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II to provide surround sound from all sources. It currently retails at suggested price of $599.95.
