Blue Microphones today unveiled their brand new Yeti model which is actually the world’s first THX certified microphone. What makes this microphone more interesting is that it adopts the company’s innovative triple capsule array, allowing for recording in stereo or your choice of three unique patterns, including cardioid, omnidirectional, and bidirectional. This USB mic features a high quality analog-to-digital converter, a built-in headphone amplifier, and simple controls for headphone volume, pattern selection, instant mute, and microphone gain located directly on the microphone. If you are interested, you can purchase the Yeti THX-certified USB microphone for $149.99 each. [Blue Microphones]

They usually make attractive looking microphones but this one is plug ugly. I think I will stick with my Samson Usb C03U.
Maybe that’s why they called it the Yeti, you know big and ugly !!
You know David, looks isn’t everything. This USB mic blows so many other mics out of the water. I have always been a Blue Mic fan and am proud to have just upgraded finally to the Yeiti from the Snowball.
