The Zero-Electricity Fridge is another conceptual portable device with advanced technology. Designed by a team at stanfrod, funded by Adam Grosser, came up with a device that essentially doesn’t require any electricity to operate. As the device heats—put it over a fire, it automatically triggers some sort of coolant. It then acts like a powerful cold pack, turning anything from a jug to a hole in the ground into a twenty-four-hour minifridge. A great device for doctors to keep vaccines at proper temperatures in areas with no electricity. [Thedesignblog]
